THE IRAQ RALLY seemed to work for Trump much as expected. I think he felt he had to do something after the quick decision on Syria. Trump made claims of the danger of the visit, having to fly in in total darkness, etc. and I'm sure this is true coz Melania was allowed to come along.

If I have upset some by claiming this as just a big support rally let me explain that I saw Trump sign a MAGA hat. He talked to the troops and told them of the big pay raise he had fought for on their behalf. That's right. Trump fought to give them 10 percent. They are all going to get a 10 percent pay raise now. I'm sure this makes them love Trump a bit more. Trump says this will be the biggest pay raise in 10 years.

The military gets an annual pay increase of 1 to 3 percent and this is a standard. This year they are going to get 2.6 percent. There is no 10 percent increase. They get 2.6 percent. Trump nor anyone else fought to get them any more money. The 10 percent pay increase is a myth.

This is how it goes with the man that some call president. This is also a very good example of why Trump supporters do not ever want him to testify openly in the Mueller investigation, or in any other investigation.
