I care a about a lot of animals that are endangered, but elephants have a special place in my heart for some reason. I found this article (with a great video towards the bottom) to be very encouraging and I'm sure most here will love the involvement of the women in this mission.
If you have any money that you want to donate to a good cause, there's also the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. They act as a retirement refuge for elephants that have been used in circuses and other such displays in the U.S.

The elephant is actually my favourite animal in the world. I wish we were all more like them. A close second is the penguin.
We must protect them. They are sacred.
