Homosexuality and pedophilia are two completely different and separate things. Hate that these get confused all the time. Ignorance!! Pedophilia is a disorder that you either have or don't have. Causes are unknown.

I think he has no idea of the differences between homosexuals and pedophiles. Statistically, about 95% of pedophiles are hetrosexual in their adult relationships. Homosexuals make up about 10% of hte population, which means homosexuals are actually less likely to sexually abuse children.

It is far more likley that forced celibacy is responsible for pedophilia in the ?Catholic church. Studies show that persons who don't allow themselves any sexual outlets develop neurotic tendencies. In other words, if you repress your sexual drive, it will manifest in one way or another... such as (possibly) a sexual attraction to children. Actual scientific data supports that more than his outdated and debunked heoiry.

Humans are animals sith drives and instincts, which are natural. Try to repress those drives and instincts and you get peopel who are really psychologically fucked up.

Since most pedophiles are heterosexuals that is one step of bullshit. That, and, yes, there were no more potential sex abusering priests than in the general public, however, the church protected and hid those people giving them the opportunity to commit more crimes with immunity, opening the door for some who might not have abused due to fear. So, the church is as bad if not, arguably, worse.
