DEBUNKED: Top 5 AR-15 Lies! | Louder With Crowder
Honestly, I have both some conservative, and liberal views on them.
To be honest, one of the things thirks me about the topic, is that there are so many that really don't know much about guns. and this is a good vid to show what I mean.

What a pratt !!. In more civilised parts of the world we just shake our heads in disbelief at the USA's gun loving culture. On a recent visit to the USA i spent a pleasant afternoon with a family in Idaho, until the conversation turned to gun ownership,. The man of the house stated that he had several loaded guns in the house in case he was attacked by a homicidal maniac. paranoid or what ??. I said ok, that's handguns but no one should own semi automatic rifles other than the military. The reply was " owning and using one may be someone's hobby". Just before I was escorted from the house I suggested that knitting or stamp collecting may be a better hobby.

Crowder is dumb as a box of shit. I've called him out many times.

The AR-15 was designed in 1955 by Eugene Stoner (after the AR-10). It was designed to replace the M-14 (now the M-16 and M-4). It was designed for one reason. To kill humans. It was lighter than the M-14, and infantrymen could carry about 2.5X more ammo.

Biden is right about a shotgun. That is the last thing I'd grab for home defense. Oh, and 5 rds is the max for hunting in Nebraska. Standard for the AR-15 is 30.

His lever gun theory is dumb. Most mass shootings are done with an AR-15 or AK-47. "This holds 13". Hey dumbfuck, they have mags to you can change them fast! Look at the North Hollywood shootout that happened in 1997. Around 300 LAPD officers could not take those guys down. They had to call in a SWAT team.

The ATF does consider the AR-15 as an "assault weapon". Look it up. Trump now is banning bumpstocks.

Thank you for sharing. While I tend to lean more to the right, my overall views align best with the Libertarians, so I understand when you say you have a combination of both political views. If you are interested, you are more than welcome to join- "Pro Gun Rights"

I'm a member of Pro Gun Rights. lol I am also a member of Gun Control Now.

I like hearing both sides of the story. Sometimes I post the exact article on both groups just to see what people from either of the sides have to say. I myself am middle of the road.

@TheGreatShadow I have been on both sides so to speak. Growing up and in my teens I was raised in a diehard liberal Democrat household, and once I learned about the other side I turned my back on the political left. There is no middle road when it comes to rights, and I strongly think no other human being has a right to regulate what I do in life and what I own, provided I do not seek to cause harm to others (which I don't). Most of those who I interact with on here are well aware of the fact that when it comes to overall politics I lean Libertarian, as I don't care for either extreme. Politics you could meet in the middle, not exactly so when dealing with rights, at least in my opinion anyway. As for me, I'm for the most part done with the anti gun rights crowd, I grew up with their propaganda and I know they are full of it, so I consider it a waste of time in debating them.

@TheGreatShadow I forgot I had mentioned above about being Libertarian, pardon the repeat.

@SpikeTalon It's sad that most of the people that want to ban a firearm of any type have never fired one, or probably ever been around one. I'm sure you've watched the video of some guy firing an AR-15. He claimed that it kicked so hard and he got PTSD. Pussy. It's a high powered 22.

On the other hand, there is not any realistic reason for a civilian to be able to fire 30 rounds in about 4 seconds. I own one, but can't really justify owning it. I flat out just wanted it. If you are that bad of a shot, you need to spend more time at the range. Varmints I will use a 22 LR or .223. Big game 30-06 or 30-30. I usually use a bolt rifle for that tho. 4 rds in the mag. I only need one or two on a bad day.

@TheGreatShadow There are quite a few things in life that people don't need or could justify owning, but they own certain things regardless. In a free society I don't owe anyone justification for owning certain things as it's no one's business what I own, so long as I'm not a threat to anyone or myself. The justification business is political correctness in my opinion, and I don't buy into it. If government workers/military own certain types of guns I should be able to own the same thing, why should they get special privilege due to their careers? If someone has the required funds and space to store such, I think they should be able to own a missile if they want one. Why do we only trust certain people with things like that? Some things perhaps never should have come into existence, but they exist regardless and it's futile to wish otherwise. With that said, I'll give you one good reason to own an AR-15, and only one reason would be necessary. If you find yourself against multiple enemies or home invaders and reloading right away might not be preferential. Remember, in real world shooting scenarios those extra rounds in the magazine could come in handy, as your enemies will not be waiting around for you to shoot them, please keep that in mind.

@SpikeTalon The thing with home invasions is that the last article I read said the average rounds fired for an invasion was 5.6. You're not going to need a 150 rd drum, or a belt fed upper. If you need more than 10 rds, you probably need to stop pissing people off. Most home invasions are someone you know, and possiblly someone that has been in your house at one point. They will know when you sleep, when you got to work, where you have whatever it is they want to steal. Usually not some random crack head.

@TheGreatShadow The thing with that is articles like that have exceptions and do not apply to everyone in all possible situations. In my above comment, I was referring to a typical 30 round magazine for an AR-15, not 100+ round or belt fed as you brought up.
