Hypocrites, the whole lot of them.

If they would just be consistent and apply that rule across the board, and get rid of all those who believe in religious law...

Well, hell, they would have to vote themselves out.

Most of the opposition to him is due his detractors' fervent belief that he would be more loyal to Sharia law than American laws of he ever had to choose.... Also Dr Shafi has stated he 'haven't thought about it' when asked if he was for or against abortion... So they are after him for that too.

Hate... will fabricate “reasons”. If the amount of “shit” is stacked really high (no matter how much of it is bull____), it gets overwhelming to “defend” against. That’s a tactic used often...

Oooh , big lawsuit coming on that !
ACLU. !!!!

How ironic they don't see they're acting exactly like those they hate.

Not surprising since you can't hold office in Texas w.o belief in a god anyway. They are just taking the extra step and defining what constitutes an 'approved' god I guess.

@maturin1919 No...you might win eventually...but the reality is that the LAW is written where you can't hold office...thus you can't. After the law is overturned, then yes, you could hold the office, but it would take be a legal battle, esp since it is declaring the state constitution illegals.

@maturin1919 I would think so too, but depends if you get a judge that actually rules as per US Constitution. I've seen too many bench warmers rule in their party's, government, or self interests above upholding the law.

Such BS. Embarrasing. Texas- I mean really!

Commenting first on your own post is considered bad form on here, b/c of the double point thing. IDC myself, just letting you know that some people might give you crap about it.

@jondspen Oh well, hopefully no one cares 🙂) Not a points hound myself so it never occurred to me.

@OwlInASack Who blocked you?

@OwlInASack why would they block you? No reason I can see.

@OwlInASack yes it is. Weird. I don't block people. I can hear what others think without getting too offended.

@OwlInASack yes I should qualify my statement. I will block anyone who is inappropriate or as you say the cheap shag crew. But I don't get into hassles with anyone else even the hard right. Just ignore them. Blocking gets real complicated!

@OwlInASack I didn't block you from what I remember. I reported you to admin for trolling and personal attacks, and they put you on my block list from what I can tell. I went to my blocks and you were on there, and I had to block you before I had the option to unblock you.
