Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Even if some do withhold their pay I bet they have more than enough in savings or other accounts to tie them over until this debacle ends. That's not the case for a lot of us federal workers.

Most have self supporting businesses that bring in big profits. They don't really need their salaries.
So if you cashed your paycheck and someone robbed you and took it, how is that any different from what the government does? You work, they take your money and call it "taxes" and will lock you up if you don't pay them the money. It's theft. That should be reason enough to want to stop paying taxes....and then add in all the misuse, entitlement, and corruption....kinda sickening isn't it?

Taxes are not theft. They are necessary for the function of government and society as a whole. They provide for the general welfare of a country and it's citizens.
@jlynn37 yeah...I didn't drink that kool-aid.
@SkotlandSkye Try to imagine what society would be like without taxes and the benefits that taxes provide.
@jlynn37 I have...and so have all the members of the 3rd largest political party in the USA. This isn't something that only I believe.

@jlynn37 exactly....someone who is awake and aware isn't going to by into the status quo brainwashing and social conditioning.
According to the state of our society today it is naïve to think that most people would voluntarily donate money for causes they didn't believe in. The gov't can't survive on a Go Fund Me type of program.
