For most of the past year, I have been posting various articles on here, and it's interesting to me which ones draw immediate agreement, and which ones draw immediate negative comments. Only a very few commenters have been actually rude, though, which is good.
I would like to point out, however, that I don't necessarily agree 100% with all the articles I post. I just find them interesting food for thought.
Maybe I should do a study on the type of articles that draw immediate negative response.
I get more thumbs up being humorous. By the way, since no one mentioned it: it is National Squirrel Day so be squirrelly and act a little nutty.
Let me guess....anything leftist is praised, anything right, conservative, or against the current SJW zeitgeist religion is attacked.
No, I don't post that much political stuff. That's what makes it interesting.
@tnorman1236 Doesn't have to be political to be leftist
might be interesting. where does the passion lie?
I haven't figured it out completely yet. Part of seems to be when people feel the article wasn't rigorous enough, or seemed to ignore some salient point. There are a lot of smart people on here, and you kind of have to be careful what you post.
@tnorman1236 lol......often folks who are smart, or those who aspire to be, find being critical an emotional boost to thier ambitions. there are plenty of smart folks here tho, and valid criticisms. By Inspiration or Instigation, your posts make us think.
@hankster Thanks. That's why I post them. I find them interesting, and then post them in the hope that other people will find them to be.
