It really depends who the people are and if they are willing to learn, explore, test and go where man has yet to answer the simple questions!

They regularly do at seminars and conferences, as well as drinks after work and lunches with speakers.

There is a science category you can choose when you make a post. I’m pretty dim-witted when it comes to sciencey things and frequently ask stuff. In fact I am about to now! There are some really smart guys there across the board and more than happy to share their knowledge.

Anyone who asks questions is not dim-witted, It's those who think they know too much to have to that are dim-witted!

They can, and they do.

They should. I love science but you tend to lose me talking of Shroeder's cat and a multiverse. Let us discuss science that we have some evidence for and not just make things up. When you make things up or talk of "what if" you tend to sound like a theist in my opinion.

No not theism, theoretical physics.. Way beyond my feeble brain but an example is the Higgs boson. It's existence was forecast long before it was actually discovered.

@Moravian Some of this I can go along with. Some of it is also just like science fiction to me. That was my point.

@DenoPenno Take your point but sometimes science fiction becomes science fact

@Moravian True, but until it does I can't get into the multiverse.

@DenoPenno How do you know ?. You may have a twin reading this in another universe 🙂. I have a friend who is a believer in the more exotic science fiction possibilities . like space/time travel by utilising wormholes. That may just be possible but I think your body would be slightly remodelled when you came out the other end.
