I'm watching a little baby… a beautiful little girl… a toddler just learning to walk. As I watch her and the interaction with her parents I thought to myself:
“How come nobody hands me stuff to play with?”
“How come when I fall nobody scoops me up into their lap to comfort me?”
“How come when I get all excited and 'scream' nobody kisses me on the top of my head?”

Goes to show that we forget a lot of what happened when we were toddlers. Or maybe we just wish we still were that age.

Its a matter of ability. As a caregiver I do most of those things for elderly. Just wait a few years ?

Okay, so someone is jealous of a toddler.
😉

Are you as cute as the baby? If you are, then your questions are entirely valid.

Alas, even on my best day I could not compete with her.

Clearly you need better friends!

It is unfortunate that parents don't always properly care for their most precious responsibility.
