Don't blame a clown for acting like a clown. Ask yourself why you keep going to the circus.

But why did we give a clown a job in government instead of the circus?

That's like asking not to look at the elephants in the circus.

that's glib but meaningless. i didn't vote for the asshole in the white house and most americans didn't.

Yeah but I keep watching the news....

@Carin well, there is no "the news." there is network news and some cable news (talking heads) and there is fox (not news) and there is alex jones (two kinds of news: lies and damned lies) and there is news analysis (what i watch, in my case on msnbc). what is it you are calling news? and how in the world is that "going to the circus"? would sticking your head in the sand be better? if you think watching the news is bad, turn the tv off and call your elected official and tell him/her what you want, and how badly you want it -- but you won't know what to want if you don't know what's happening. meanwhile, we LIVE at the circus.

As much as I loathe the orange embarassment I posted this as a comment on interpersonal relationships rather than on US politics. That is why I posted it in 'Health and Happiness'.

@kmdskit3 ha, it should be in love and relationships, then, yes? anyway, i saw the word clown and i saw orange 🙂)
