Why are so many people spending their social exchange time with the "aint it f....d about Trump" theme of conversation, doing' just what the press finds you will spend time with? Is this kind of socially conditioned focus, mandatory behavior?.
O.K. what about social activism? Of course, but if that's one's move, why not do it as a substitute for talking?
Otherwise why complain about Trump? This only reinforces one's sense of impotency. I have struggled for a lifetime with negativity, which , at least in me can be interpreted as a need to make an excuse by blaming the other. (conveniently relieving myself of any responsibility for self extrication). Otherhandledly, (if I said it, ergo it must be a word...or at least soon will be)
Now, where was I ? (heard that before?) Oh, Trumpfication or no Trumpification; that is the question!
All right the alternative, which people may exercise, is to change one's focus. in some positive form. That is the existential question of the day. (never really knew what that really meant but seems to go there)

All that ‘wordy’ negativity, is keeping us sane until there is some opening to help remove trump from ‘the people’s house!’ If people in power, can’t make a dent in the status quo, how do you think the lowly citizen feels? This is so far out of the norm, that the average person has no concept of how to altar the downward spiral of our complete governmental system! I for one do not wish to take my ‘eye,’ off the ball! A country is at stake, and we don’t even have all the facts yet! I will just need to toughen up more!!!

why? because information is power, trump and his trumpkins are destroying the country, and we love our country. positive thoughts don't save us. votes, protests, phone calls to our elected officials, letting them know what we want, exposing crimes and demanding that they be cut short and punished and further crimes prevented, THOSE things will save us. it doesn't reinforce our impotence. it gives us the power that should be ours. it's not socially conditioned at all; what we're socially conditioned to do is lie back and take it. you have it totally backwards!

@soquel maybe my mouse hovered on something in the category list and i thought i was hovering over your name. that's not likely but what else could it be? except... i HAVE seen odd things on ag dot com posts i've made myself for example, on at least half a dozen occasions (not recently) i would make a post and then look at it, and everywhere the word "to" or "and" should be, there would be an extra space, so i knew i hadn't just left out the words in question... but they just wouldn't be there anymore. and this didn't happen while i was typing (i'd sort of notice if six words vanished while i was typing!) it happened somewhere in the posting process, out in the invisibleness of the internet. so it's POSSIBLE your profile said 41 when i looked. it's no more likely than anything else, but i wouldn't put it past ag dot com to have that sort of glitch! if it were a mental hiccup on my part, i think i'd have come up with 30 or something that looks like 80, ya know? anyway, not something with a one instead of a zero. that's just TOO weird.

@Shouldbefishing well duh, i think we've covered that. but when i first looked, it seemed to say 41. i don't know why but i think it is hard to mistake 80 for 41. so whatever happened, if you look at the other comments, you'll see we have talked that one to death.
