Microplastics found in every dolphin, whale, seal tested in U.K. study
All of the dolphins, whales and seals examined in a new U.K. study had ingested microplastics, said researchers at the University of Exeter.
Of all the different fibres and fragments found in 50 marine mammals studied, the most prevalent type was blue or black nylon, according to the research published in Scientific Reports.
“It’s shocking -- but not surprising,” lead author Sarah Nelms, of the University of Exeter and Plymouth Marine Laboratory, said in a statement.

The base of the food chain are the micro biome that all life rests upon. Their consumption/absorbtion of quantum plastic has not been considered in measure. As we near the precipice of catastrophe, no spawn of mine remains to carry on, to carry on. Seems ":fleece" is one of the major culprits from all of the laundry we do & recycle plastic into fleece.
Wonder when women will began having plastic bubble babies.....and how soon it will be the number one cause of death, and will plants survive?
