In a world where information is free, to destroy education requires flooding the market of ideas with counter knowledge. The most valuable thing we can teach our young is a toolkit for filtering reliable and unreliable sources of knowledge. Critical thinking is rarely taught in schools but it is the most vital lesson I ever learned. The foundation upon which we can build our knowledge.

I agree with you about critical thinking skills but they're many other necessary aspects of education that the right is trying to deny students.
