"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool." - Richard Feynman
I'd like to think I'm better at not fooling my self now, but I think I'm just fooling myself.
Ha!
"Surely you must be joking Mr. Feynman"
He had a lot of good comments, a bit absent minded, he was lucky, his wife was also extremely smart, there are some awesome stories of how they maintained contact while he was locked away working on secret government projects.
James Gleick wrote an excellent biography of Feynman, I'd highly recommend it.
@Fearlessfreep The Life and Science of Richard Feynman by Gleick, I'll look it up thanks, I read Feynmans autobiography about 30 years back, loved it.
@Rugglesby I didn't realize he'd written an autobiography, I'll have to check it out. I've read "Six Easy Pieces" and "Six Not So Easy Pieces". There's several of his lectures on YouTube.
@Fearlessfreep yes, it's called, "Surely you must be joking Mr. Feynman"
@Rugglesby Oh I know that book! But I've not read it. I didn't realize it's an autobiography.
@Fearlessfreep I know, you wouldn't think so by the title,
No truer words ever spoken...it helps to strip away any habits of behaving against your self! Just own all of youself...
Oh yes, we ourselves are the easiest to fool. We lie to ourselves all the time.
