Uneventful...

I was hoping to change the uneventful to something different.

Had a fun day at work. Came home to a disaster with plumbing issues.
BUT went and got a bite to eat with neighbors ( also fun ) so basically I survived and it was not as bad as I thought as a fairly new widow.

"What are you doing?" my friend Kameon asked, calling. "I want to take you to dinner for Valentine's Day. I figured after breaking up with Kirk, you were sitting at home alone."

She was right. I was reading a book, "Love Walked In."

Kameon picked me up in her SUV. It was snowing heavily. My little car has less than six inches of road clearance. I didn't want to drive.

We enjoyed dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant I love, talking and laughing.

It was Thursday. Or Friday eve.

Same as most any other day...
