If I understand the green new deal correctly, there is a part AOC wants to get rid of cars. If true, then how do people that live in the country get around. Many have to drive 10+ miles to the grocery store, doctor appointments, ect. I have family that live 800+ miles away. I have driven that distance to visit. Without a car or plane, I would have no way to get there. I'm not willing to take the greyhound bus or a train to visit. It would literally take me 2 days to get to where I'm going. Most of us don't have massive amounts of vacation time from work.
I'm not picking at anyone here, I'm just curious how this part of the new green deal would work, if this is even true. Keeping an open mind here.

You are exactly correct. She scares the shit out of them, from BOTH parties.
She's everything they hate.
She's young, she's intelligent, she's a woman, even more--she's a woman of color, and she's got NO respect for how they've been doing things.
She's calling them on their bullshit, and they can't stand it.
As I've said before, I hope she stays around for as long as she's doing all that.
