I don't care if you like, love, dislike or hate bernie sanders. if you don't want him to be president, don't vote for him in the primaries. just don't go saying he shouldn't run as a democrat. he said when he ran last time he would not be a spoiler and he kept his word. he's not jill stein. the primaries are not the general. primary candidates are not spoilers. he will not divide the liberal vote... unless he loses the primary and the bots come out in force and say he was cheated (which he himself never said, and in fact denied -- so that won't be him doing the dividing!) vote your heart in the primaries. vote your head in the general. vote blue at any rate.

@genessa I respect your choice. I may not. I gave up picking the lesser of two evils a while ago. I will not be held hostage. That said, we'll see what happens.
@Jay1313132018 i do not find any of the democratic candidates evil, nor did i last time. but even if i did, trump is WAY beyond evil. getting rid of him is NOT being held hostage. voting in such a way that keeps trump in power is being held hostage. i mean that literally. russia and the republicans are holding us hostage, and some of us are dying i captivity.

Our participation in our democracy is a two way street. We are not simply receptacles for everyone else's opinions and ideas. It is not just a Right, but a Responsibility to speak up and participate in every way we can.
Also, I don't think Bernie should run again.

@genessa I didn't say anything about supporting Stein, although I would if I felt so inclined. My statement was meant as a joke - a play on words. I woke up on the left side of my bed this morning. 
Voting blue, red or any other color depends completely on the candidates. I'm not a very good follower. Anyway, it doesn't really matter who I vote for in the general elections. I live in TN (a red state), so my vote rarely counts thanks to the electoral college.
