Aleita Battle Angel looks like a lot better film anyway. I’d rather watch a film with an actual strong female lead kicking bad guy ass. Not some Mary Jane promoting a thinly veiled SJW agenda. Give me Princess Leia from the original Star Wars trilogy and Ripley from the Alien films any day. Not interested in Captain Marvel.

I thought it was ok. Not the best in the MCU. I enjoyed her kicking ass once she went full power. However, there are a few things that could have made the movie better. Carol/Vers could have had a more witty personality (like Tony Stark or Dr Strange) or play up the fish-out-of-water aspect. The storytelling was weak: having the audience know what happened to character then having that character try to figure it out throughout the movie can be boring or frustrating. Instead the audience should figure it out as the character does. Lastly, there was at least one scene (maybe 2) where the lighting was way off and the scene was very dark. I could barely tell what was happening.
