For me this proves our elected officials have NO interest in what this pledge actually stand for.

The only thing that has changed is the word GOD and that has only made things worse.

75 YEARS since this was drawn and not much has changed.
Women and PoC still paid less than white males.
Blacks and other PoC still out number white males for rates of incarceration AND higher sentences for the SAME crime. Even being prosecuted is more likely for a black person.
Anyone who is not white, hetero and christian is subject to discrimination.
Jews still the subject of hate crimes. Muslims too.

I realize I am preaching to the choir on this site, it's just an ugly list and I needed to vent.
