Congrats on moving. The first thing that comes to my mind is an apple tree, but it all depends on the climate. Another plant I love is creeping thyme. It's beautiful and smells amazing when you walk on it. Plus, it's really easy to take care of as it can handle different weather conditions. You could also think about planting some colorful flowers like marigolds or petunias to give your garden a nice splash of color.

Well, we've actually just moved to a new house where we finally have a garden, so if you have any ideas on what to plant there, any ideas will be much appreciated.

Hey there! I'm always excited to talk about gardens. In mine, I have a variety of beautiful flowers like roses, tulips, and daisies. I also have a small herb garden with basil, thyme, and mint.... Oh, and I can't forget my vegetable patch, where I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. It's such a joy to watch everything grow and flourish!

I'm in the high desert. My drip irrigation clogged and I had pretty substantial die offs of trees and shrubs. I plan to eventually get landscaped with drought resistance plants. I also have room for adding raised bed planters to grow edibles (The soil being otherwise fairly inhospitable). I particularly want to add shade structures that can handle the extremes (wind and temperature shifts). The trees are nice have turned out to be a little too high maintenance and boost the water bill. On my photo page is the last 3-4 miles to my property. It's 1.2 acres with a dilapidated corral. When I get my finances in order, I'm considering goats for weed abatement, or even participating in the donkey rescue program.

A bloody jungle, all the plants are edible, mostly delicious, passionfruit, pineapples, allsorts of berries native plums, plums from the saharah, grapes, lots of tropical vegetables, figs, herbs, garlic by the ton (exageration) , tomatoes egg plants, water chestnuts all in a super crazy almost impenetrable mess. Then of course there are the lizards, snakes, birds, crayfish, frogs and such.

I am so excited to see green things starting to appear in my yard. Every summer for the past 3 or 4 years I have grown tomatoes. There is nothing so sublime as a tomato fresh off the vine. They taste like sunshine.

There are pharaohs at the bottom of my garden.

Isn't that a personal question?
