You went uptown riding in your limousine
In your fine Park Avenue clothes
You had the Dom Perignon in your hand
And the spoon up your nose
And when you wake up in the morning
With your head on fire
And your eyes too bloody to see
Go on and cry in your coffee
But don't come bitchin' to me

For instance...a person with class is that one who doesn't react when publicly humiliated.

A person "with class" is a person with manners.

1

Dash, style, wit, someone who expects more of themselves than of others.

2

That it usually tells more about the person describing them, which is perhaps what you’re interested in 🙂

There’s a social depiction of ‘Class,’ and your own.. Mine can include those of very modest means, depending on what they’ve done with them.

Wealth does not equate to class. Education, tolerance, honesty, dignity, humility, accuracy and intelligence surely enter the equation.

Good manners. Confident when they walk into a room of strangers.

Stuffy old fart that puts on a good show in public but molests children in private.
