After a life altering event it became clear that several of my family members had wronged in a horrible and tragic manner... after a lengthy thought process I decided to estrange myself from my entire family.. siblings, aunt's and uncles, cousins, and any known associates....had I any idea how good it felt I would have done it 40 years ago.... Has anyone else done a similar motion?

It must have been pretty horrible. I am estranged from one brother. I have seen him once in the last 20 years at my father's funeral.
