CBD oil -- what are your experiences, good or bad? I tried it last year and it didn't work, but it may have been a weak strain or dose. I'm considering trying it again, but only the best brand and dosage. There's so much mixed info out there, and a lot of scams. But I'm hearing that for some people who use it -- and use the right products correctly -- that it can work. Looking for the drops that you put under your tongue.

EDITED: for those who've asked, it's for chemo-induced neuropathy in my hands and feet, and fatigue.

As with many supplements - the oil varies so much - in quality, concentration, recommended dosage, and source. One must research carefully.

I recently got some from a reliable source myself, but have yet to take it enough to know how/if/when it will benefit.

A really low dose anti seizure med. finally gave me some peace with my neuropathy. It also makes me reverse letters typing sometimes which pisses me off. But at least I can sleep some nights.

However with CBD I've heard some good things.
The thing that makes me think it's worth your time to try it is that Good Veterinarians are using it for pets with arthritis etc..
Where they aren't feeding the "woo" with those patients? I believe the stuff has some merit in treatment.

My neighbor is using it for her dogs who have nerve damage from age (and arthritis) with some degree of success.

Hempworxs is the brand she uses. She suggests the 750 concentrate I think?

www.cwhemp.com is a reputable source for high quality stuff. A lot of podcasts have a promo code to get a discount; apologies I can’t recall the code but I know it’s advertised on You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes among others. CBD is definitely more effective in concert with THC so if you don’t have to pass a drug test anytime soon and can find any id recommend trying a low dose of edible with it maybe.

I've smoked on and off for almost 50 years. CBD did not work on pain for me, either (degenerative arthritis disease). I discovered I have an allergy to marijuana and hemp. This spring has been hell.

I bought some Sagely brand at CVS to treat the arthritis in my hands, which cramp up especially when writing or playing cards. Just started a few days ago, but it seems to be working.

A friend of mine uses it for pain reduction, but also has chemo induced neuropathy in his hands/feet. I've never heard him mention it helping with that but I'll text him and see what he's got to say about it. Might be a day or 2 till he gets back to me.

EDIT: it doesn't do a thing for his neuropathy. Sorry.

Just smoke some pot.

Tried it. Didn't work.

I have neuropathy from diabetes, it does not help with it. my Dr. has me taking Gabapetin it helps a lot. I still have some numbness and a bit of tingling, but not the hot ice picks stabbing me. Good Luck.

@bleurowz how many times did you try smoking? A lot of people don’t seem to get high the first time or first few times even sometimes. I’m not sure if this can be chalked up to the biodiversity of humans or if they just aren’t inhaling and holding it properly until they learn.

@Wurlitzer Medical Marijuana. Tried several strains. Nothing worked. Also regular pot. Ditto.
