@Amisja yes I did not know him personally. I work for Pearson Publishing, they are a worldwide company based in London.
Yeah, it's a really weird one. The main local ethnic rivalry is between the Sinhalese Buddhist majority and the predominantly Hindu Tamil minority. Smacks of either foreign Jihadi influence, or possibly action by a hard-line Sinhalese faction and a government coverup.

@Amisja ISIS would claim responsibility for an asteroid strike. They've just just lost the last territory they held in Syria, and want to prove they are still relevant to today's modern, discerning Jihadi fuckhead.
@MrBeelzeebubbles I just can't anymore. It isn't working. USA has trump, we have Brexit, god ppl are killing each other and the globe is melting.
@Amisja yes, but we got together to take action on lead in petrol and CFC's, and it worked. The UK had had Maggie and the poll tax riots, the US has had Nixon and the Vietnam war. I have a weird faith in humanity. Just take gay marriage, for example. Just 20 years ago, unthinkable. Now thoroughly unremarkable. It may be two steps forward, one and three quarters steps back, but I reckon we're headed in the right direction.
