A quandary I find interesting.
Joe Biden announced his official candidacy this week. In this "gotcha" environment, Biden's treatment of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings continue to plague him. For good reason. Will this (and his political overfamiliarity with women) so completely overshadow the positive contributions he has contributed to the nation, and women (pushed through the Violence Against Women Act) as to render him unviable as a real candidate in the end?
Having said that, my second inquiry revolves around Biden's inability to offer a straightforward personal apology to Anita Hill. Biden ran the committee, even though he said he believed Anita and voted against Thomas. Is Biden incapable of understanding how deeply women today felt and feel today about Anita Hill's treatment. Is Biden so out of touch and so much a white male from my generation to effectively understand the sensitivities of today's political environment?
Just brainstorming.
Biden has always been Hillary in drag....
Biden wants the female vote without earning it:
