The contradiction of free will but God's plan...

The question of free will is an interesting one. I read a recent research story by some boffin saying that we have very little free will and are at the mercy of our genes and our environment.
I'm sure there is some truth in that but I like to believe that I do have free will.

@Moravian Our primary drives come from our genes and environment, but within that we have the cognitive abilites to alter and question what we do and how we do it. Depends on which boffins we wish to listen to, and that of course implies free will.

I have a question. @seeker3co
I never know if the person posting these made it or stole it from someone else. I just assume it's public property so I sometimes steal them to post them over on Twitter to get under the skin of the religious nuts that think they can post nonsense and expect to get away with it.

Ps. Funny thing. I think one of our members is on Twitter under a different name so I may have stolen some of his from here and gave them back to him over there. Oooops 😁
