I believe Tesla's brilliance--- and of course Edison's copyright thefts, may have effected his mental health. He ended up in dire poverty feeding the pigeons in Central Park.
@Diogenes Well, we didn't know about Alzheimer's back then and depression wasn't understood, either. Hard to consider that, given modern medicines, he might've been happily working rather than hanging out with pigeons. (Not that there's anything totally wrong about that.....)
@LucyLoohoo Well I am of the opinion his brilliance, being able to see too many sides of a situation, may have had a negative effect on his mind.----- and, no, I have no understanding of psychology, at least at that level.
