Too dull, too barren and too bland, what you are describing is religion. When faced with something they cannot explain, those of faith will bring in the supernatural in a desperate attempt at clarity; what they are really doing is the opposite. How bland is that? The free mind is able to go beyond the equivocal and the myopic, There is so much out there, embrace it, don't stagnate in a world of magic that doesn't exist.

I don't care. I can't base my view of reality on how others feel about it, and I'm even less inclined to consider their opinions when they start talking about metaphysical nonsense like the "spiritual mind."

Do you also believe in spiritual or occult sciences too?

So how do you define atheism and agnosticism? Your definitions will probably reveal why you find one bland and one engaging.

I feel exactly the opposite, Just realizing that you don't know if a god exists or not is the first step in actualizing the potential you have as an individual, although it is by all means the most "correct" in terms of accuracy, it is the least pragmatic because it doesn't allow for any true self reflection and makes little or no societal impact. I chose to be atheist because it forces me to accept responsibility for my own actions and motivates me to live life to the fullest.
