Amazing True Story On Netflix---90 Year Old Survived Two A Bomb Blasts.
He was working in Hiroshima and was due to return to his home in Nagasaki the next day. He vividly remembers the Hiroshima blast and was seriously injured. He witnessed the dead & dying as he prepared to go home. He arrived in Nagasaki and once again witnessed his second A Bomb explosion . Despite his injuries and ordeal he has written and spoken for world peace and the banning of Atomic weapons.

She shared stories of the hardships and survival of the Japanese. The US did pay a small amount to each of the victims or their families...I would be interested to see this...what was the name of the documentary?

I think he is very fortunate. Some in the Hiroshima blast were seen later to be etched into a building sort of like a drawing. Of course this depended on where they were as compared to the direct blast area. Others that lived just slowly got sick while some had immediate radiation sickness beyond repair. It took a while for them to figure it out. This was strange because I was told we dropped flyers in advance.
