I am sooooo being pulled into the 21st century. A few weeks ago I reactivated my Kindle, and tonight I have just managed to borrow a library ebook. Who'dathunk! I do like physical books, but I try not to advertise my lack of faith in my office and I like to read at lunch time and on breaks. The last book I was reading was NonBeliever Nation... Now I can keep my happy heresy a tad more private.

It took me a bit to embraced Kindle (I liked 'real' books). But once I understood the ease of always having my book handy on my phone, not having to store/move physical books, buying a book with one click.....I was hooked.

I don't like it on my phone, the screen is too small and I would have to keep turning pages. I know, I'm such a baby. I have a tablet so I use that. I like adjusting the font so I can read it easily. And my light at my desk at worked stopped working so I can adjust the app so I can read it less light. I do think the tablet weighs more than most books, but to borrow or return a book to the library is a mouse click instead of a trip to the library. Yeah, I can get used to this.

you anarchist you.Book burnings will never be the same with Kindles. I mean People would have to wade through Uncle Tom's Cabin, and The Wind in the Willows to get to your more subversive books to delete.

Arthur Conan Doyle would say that you have modernized.
