when summer starts this tune always comes back to me. i was 19 yrs old on a canadian destroyer escort & we spent 10 days in DC the summer this song was popular. sailed right up the potomac to DC.
it was a wild 10 days party. best port i ever visited for girls. as everyone knows there are way more girls than guys in DC. and they liked our uniforms.
