There is a bug in my car. The other night suddenly the blinkers would not work, and now they do. What is going on?

Loose connection or moisture likely. If it's moisture and it keeps happening, it can fuse your bulb in its socket and then you'll have to replace both.

It's always damp in the uk.
Most intermiitent car electrical faults are usually earth (ground) faults. I don't suppose that helps much.

That’ll be the ghost of Uncle Tarquin prompting you to check your electrics.

The 4 way ones or the turn signals? Maybe the relay is going to fail? They do wear out ,look for an Aluminum can about 2" in diameter on the fuse panel of your car,or it could be a cube type.
