To those who believe the economy is "better", guess again.
Trickle-down economics has NEVER worked for the People, and it's not working now.
Way to be suckers though.
45 loves you.

Steyer is wasting his time with a WH run.
He should focus on the Senate.

  1. The American economy has never been perfect for everyone ever, some are always unhappy but the success is measured by how most feel. Most feel very good about the current economy, the jobless rate is the lowest in this largest economic expansion in history. We progressives complain that the trickle down has not worked but our trickle up has never worked either.
  2. It is a consensus among political pundits and people in general that Trump is almost sure to get re-elected with this strong economy

Yes, I agree he can get to the Senate with the money he has.

@St-Sinner The jobless rate being so "low" is deceptive AF. As are most of the rest of the indicators.
Pathetic how so many are so easily fooled by this bs.
But hey, whatever.

Trump will surely beat any of the idiotic democrats. If the economy continues to do well the democrats don’t stand a chance.

Don't forget that Trump is the only President in the last 30 years who has shown spine to tackle the country's illegal immigration menace against all opposition, outcry and made up injustice. Every President, Republican and Democrat alike in the last 30 years has kicked the can down the road while pandering to communities for votes.

Obama Democrats and independents will vote for him again in 2020 just like they switched over and voted in 2016. The total Hispanic community supports Trump on immigration. People who entered into the United States support Trump because they understand the value of their honest efforts and understand how long it took to deserve what they got. They are angry about people just crossing the border, crossing the rivers in daylight and at nights and make a mockery of American freedom and kindness.

Democrats are totally oblivious to this and think policy wonking will win them votes. LOL.

@St-Sinner You sound like a conservative. Your welcome to join us in the conservativeatheist group.

@St-Sinner Well I agree with you. I'm against illegal immigration just as much as you are. Most Democrats are.
Obama was and is against it as well. Deported 400k a year. Net decrease in illegal immigration. There was hardly a problem at all.
What happened? I really am curious. I don't follow the news. I'm not being sarcastic. You have to know I hate Trump, but did he have anything to do with it?

@Trajan61 I am ultra progressive. You can call me a Obama Democrat.

@Storm1752

I don't like Trump on many many things but I will take any President - Republican or Democrat who can control illegal immigration and put an end of the special interest industry built around the illegal immigrants such as lawyers, activists, low wage employers, protesters etc.

It is true that Obama started taking actions against undocumented workers in 2006 but he limited it to deporting only immigrants who committed crime. That did not go far enough

This article gives more information but the data is only up to 2016 and some of 2017. Trump has caused more undocumented immigrants leaving the U.S. on own. [bbc.com]

Trump has been consistent and stood up against the outcry and pressure tactics of Congressional Democrats', special interests and so on. He does not finch. he does not blink. He is persistent and he has delivered. He has also launched merit based legal immigration to attract talent from around the world but people do not seem to take notice of it.

I will vote for anybody who will act against illegal immigration menace. I lived in New York and used to visit all boroughs often. I have gone into neighborhoods where people from Cuba, Mexico and other Central and South American countries do not speak a word for English after 20 or more years in the United States. Every applicant for Visa lined up at U.S. Consulate outside must give an English proficiency test. Illegal immigrant advocates want equal treatment. Where is equal treatment here?

Go away.

I'm curious where he stands on policy but I approve of his hatred for Trump and his willingness to act on it. He spent millions of his own money pursuing a national impeachment campaign. His commitment to the cause was impressive.

Democrats just love venture capital billionaires don't they?

Some people are more useful outside of politics. I think I've had enough of business people in the White house.

I’ve had my fill of idiotic politicians like Hillary and Obama. Why do you think the economy is doing better? Because we have a business man in the White House.

@Trajan61 The expansion started in 2008, right? How is he responsible for it? Isn't he about to cause another recession with his protectionist trade policies?
Last economic disaster caused by 'W,' cleaned up by Obama; this one caused by Trump, to be cleaned up by Warren?
Besides, everything I've heard, Trump was a very bad businessman; why can't we see his tax returns?

@Storm1752 The stock market has done a hell of a lot better since Trump took office. During Obama’s 2 terms it struggled. Hell Obama was a regulator in chief and seemed intent on stifling the economy with his idiotic regulations.

@Trajan61 Sorry Trojan, I don't follow you. Not sure what you mean? On Jan.20, 2009 when Obama became President the dow was at 7550. When he left and trump took office it was at 19,827 Jan.20,2017. Off the top of my head about a 262% gain. Right now it's at 26,858. About a 35% gain. trump has also managed to add about a 15% increase to the national debt which financed that gain in just the 2 years he's been in office during a good economy. We'll be hard-pressed to look for funds during the next recession due to our debt.

@rogueflyer Obama doubled the national debt. The stock market has increased by a faster rate since Trump took office but would likely do even better if we could reach a favorable trade deal with China. At least Trump is trying to level the field for American workers by protecting them from cheap imports.
