Many years ago I had a motorcycle license plate with four sixes in a row. That was back when they had the plates in stock to hand out as you waited. The guy at the counter asked if I minded since apparently he was superstitious. After that I had a couple of people comment that it was bad luck or whatever, I don't recall all the comments exactly. I thought it was cool and funny people got worked up over a string of numbers.

[] 🙂

“1752 (MDCCLII) was a leap year starting on Saturday of the Gregorian calendar and a leap year starting on Wednesday of the Julian calendar, the 1752nd year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 752nd year of the 2nd millennium, the 52nd year of the 18th century, and the 3rd year of the 1750s decade. As of the start of 1752, the Gregorian calendar was 11 days ahead of the Julian calendar, which remained in localized use until 1923. In the British Empire, it was the only year with 355 days, as 3–13 September were skipped when the Empire adopted the Gregorian calendar.” ~ Wikipedia

@MissKathleen Fascinating.

Well I don't care! It's MY number!

@Storm1752 Not at all. Your number is unique, like all numbers. Plus, it is yours!

At least I now know the temperature the Who's in Whoville set the oven to. Hopefully no one burns their mouth.

Route 666 used to go through my town but enough people complained so that the highway department changed it to AZ 180.
