The biggest hoax that islam produces is Qur'anic science and for Christianity,it will be creationism...
Until about 1200, the Saracen culture provided humanity with still used knowledge.
Then a shit ass fascist dictator decreed that working with numbers was the devil's work. And that all women should be completely covered. Relegating all adherents to a medieval existence.
Qur'anic science, I take from the post is the more "modern" lack of science and reliance on holy books like other repressive Abrahanic religions (inclusion of creationism). Islam, like Christianity, etc has had its days of science and them the powers in charge realized that a dumber populace was an easier to control populace (As long as there is bread). I see little difference in disbelievers of science. I fluctuate between blaming religion for science repression and blaming the elite who empowered the set religion of an area. It is probably both, as once a religion gains power, it, too, wants to control the people.
Yes, and the word Algebra is an Arabic term. At one time mathematicians were going to that area to learn more. Islamic belief seems to have followed xianity and have an educational dark age However, I also still know xians that are also against the part of education that teaches critical thinking.
Yes, but Qur'anic science is a fact long after the fact. This makes it totally unreal. My example is that black holes are the "vacuum cleaners of the universe." This is a modern concept that nobody would have thought of before vacuum cleaners were invented. Prior to 1860 I'm not sure what Islam would have viewed black holes as, or if they were aware of them at all.
Creationism is simply an "ism." Today believers want to say "creation science" and try to get this taught in public school classrooms. The problem is that there is no science in creation. It's an apples and oranges issue.
If, outside the imaginations of big bang cosmologists, black holes exist.
Link to "Quaranic science"? Never heard of it......
Clicked on the post just to see what Quar'anic science is. In any case, the Koran or Quar' an, I can never figure the difference and science is an oxymoron in my opinion.
