I have never seen any of these.

It is called, "irreverent humor." Monty Python are 6 British atheists that had a popular show in the 60s. Then they made these movies in the 70s. If your are not religious in any fundamental way and you like really silly humor you might like these movies. You can see them on You Tube free of charge.

I couldn't help but notice the lack of one of their early movies. 'The Jabberwocky' wasn't one of their best, but even The Beetles had shitty songs with redeeming points.

I'll go with D all the above on that. I know it was not billed as a Monty Python movie, Time Bandits.🤭
Especially with christmas coming and all.😁

Has to be Bwian

Welease Bwian!

@TBWNJ01 that scene was hilarious

It used to be Holy Grail, because it's funniest, though Life of Brian is much more clever. In recent years, though, it's become Meaning of Life just for the Galaxy Song and Mr Creosote, both of which are absolute genius.

I’ve only seen one ...and it wasn’t that funny..

Which one did you see?

@Geoffrey51 The Life of Brian, stood in line, too. Tried watching it again recently ..and still couldn’t get enough out of it to hang in for long.. Folks tell me “It’s British Humor.” I guess…

@Varn Ah That would be it! Certainly the strongest of the Python films from a British perspective

Don't worry. I have laughed like a madman while watching Python while others sat beside me waiting for the funny part as the credits rolled.

@Geoffrey51, @Holysocks Weird thing is, I’ve generally loved the ‘Britcoms,’ from To The Manor Born, to My Hero … up to Doc Martin … just could never find much in the Python parlor 🙂

@Varn
It's ok. They were far out even by British standards. Everything British at that time was either overdone, or done half-passed as only They could do back then. (No offense to anyone from the UK! (My favorite bike was a Triumph. Ran like a haunted demon down the mountains, then I swore like a demon as I pushed it up mountains, but loved it anyway.)) It's a matter of taste and self- loathing...

This is an impossible question. I will have Python clips in my head all day now. (Not a complaint, just an observation.)
