I'm guessing you missed the class about how those guns work though. And for the record, I'm quite glad you don't own a pistol or an assault weapon. @Captain_Feelgood I understand guns more than you do. It is possible to modify any assault weapon to make it reload a round into the chamber only with a bolt. It did not say that it would be easy or cheap.

@wordywalt Oh, I know you can. And it isn't expensive at all on an AR platform, specially on a DI system, just remove the gas port, and wha-lah.. Hell, you can do it to an M-1, just spin the gas block around 180%. Doesn't cost a dime. But why? Just go get a bolt action.

@Captain_Feelgood Australia has passed such gun control measures and they are certainly not communist. Please don't equate sensible gun control with communism. There are many democratic countires that have sensible gun control.

@Captain_Feelgood You do not have a right to own any specific type of weapon. BY LAW you cannlot own a machine gun, a mortar, a rocket launcher, a flame thrower, or a tank.
