Why would someone who is so concerned about global warming and rising sea levels spend 14.8 million to purchase a home right on the coast. Not to mention one with a massive carbon foot print. Whatever happened to leading by example?

This is the kind of BS you get from someone sniffing methane all day and fisting cattle.

You’re a very disturbed individual!

You know what's kinda funny about this? Why do you give a shit? He's. Not. The. President.
The reason us libtard beta soyboy cucks go after Trump all the time is because he's the one in power, doing a bunch of really stupid, immoral, short sighted shit.
Do I give a shit where Georgie Junior lives? No. Obama? Clinton? No. They're not in power. They're not important.
But, please, go on with your faux outage about "Black Guy Buys Nice House". It's your head, I'm sure that you need a distraction from the clusterfuck of ineptitude currently occupying the Whitehouse.

obamarama was wall street's whore and obviously was well paid.
never prosecuted even one of the crooks which caused the great financial collapse & from which many ordinary ppl have never recovered.

liberals tend to be hypocritical so I am not surprised. What about all these hypocritical liberals in Hollywood (Leonardo DiCaprio As an example )who make documentaries about saving the planet and conserving fuel and have private jets and huge Yachts etc . They are all full of crap.

fedup Level 6 Aug 26, 2019

You sound like a conservative. When you reach level 3 why don’t you join us on the conservativeatheist group.

@Trajan61 I share most conservative viewpoints .but not all. I will take you up on the offer thanks

@fedup I’ll be looking for you in the conservativeatheist group. We conservative atheist seem to be pretty rare as evidenced by the number of left wing liberal idiots on his website.

@Trajan61From what I have observed here, being a liberal non believer and thinking logically without childish emotions does not necessarily go hand in hand

I just has a realization that I think is freaking hilarious. You got your information (opinion) from an anti-Obama article..

[dailywire.com]

Evident by your use of "massive carbon footprint".. and then linked us a neutral website so you could portray this as an original thought of your own and not just you parroting anti-Obama statements from an anti-Obama article.

I thank you cause that really did give me a good chuckle.

1

I don't like or dislike Obama, so from a neutral PoV and being someone who cares about the environment, I wouldn't feel bad about buying something that's already been built. You really have no idea what kind of carbon footprint that place leaves nor do you know if he does or doesn't plan on reducing it. With 29 acres, it wouldn't be hard to dedicate enough land for solar and possibly wind energy. I know that's what I would do if I had the money and wanted to reduce my impact.

I tried Googling the carbon footprint of the place, but couldn't find anything other than biased sites simply stating it has a massive carbon footprint without any data to back it up. I did find an article where it says the current owner is saying that he didn't sell his mansion, so we also don't know if they're actually buying it or if this was a made up story that snowballed.

Why do I get the feeling you'd attack Obama if he lived in a carbon neutral ecohouse.

The liberals attack Trump daily. And Trumps a good president. Obama was a piece of shit president.

@Trajan61 MAGA hats are made in China. Just saying.

@MrBeelzeebubbles The one I bought was made in the good ole USA!

@Trajan61 "trump's a good president"....how do you feel about nuking hurricanes, sweetie? Got any friends or relatives that might live downwind?

@AnneWimsey That was just liberal propaganda!

@Trajan61 um, no, an actual video clip of him saying that, and the sycophants he has surrounded himself with "explaining" his INSANE remarks

@Trajan61 I don't set why Obama even needs a new house, when he seems to live in your head rent free.

4

Consider the POS who bought the place.

You got that right!

You are correct on that

1

I see these people on House Hunters & HH International , "We have to be right on the beach":

  1. Wait until you get the Flood Insurance bill!
    and
  2. Waddya, stupid or something?

Obama must definitely be stupid or a hypocrite.

@Trajan61 um, what? Pretty gratuitous comment, as I was talking about people on tv shows buying oceanfront, as indeed everyone on here was but You...monomania, much?

@AnneWimsey Evidently you didn’t even read my post as it’s about Obama buying a large beach front property.

@Trajan61 your actual post didn't mention Obama, although you included a link to a POS rag that deals in rumors to excite idiots.....

@AnneWimsey That is not a rumor. Google it. Typical of you libtards to call it a rumor if you don’t like it.

@Trajan61 oh, alrighty then......

@Trajan61 wow, no mind like a totally closed one, I guess...see above!

@Trajan61 you are absolutely correct ,every time they disagree with something they either say it is not true or a rumor.

@richiegtt Well, to be honest, if it's being said by Trump it's almost certainly not true. The man lies all the time.

It went out the window when your team elected a president who, as a real estate developer, repeatedly hired contractors to work on his projects, then broke his contracts and refused to pay them, effectively daring them to take him to court because he could afford to drag it out for years, whereas the small businesses would go bankrupt long before the case would be over.
A president who declared himself bankrupt repeatedly while being a billionaire. Who bragged about manipulating the system and claims that's the smart thing to do, all while losing more money than any person alive today- yet claiming to be a brilliant businessman.
Who accuses his opponents of being liars while lying at a rate of 12 verified falsehoods per day for the duration of his term in office so far.

Yep- leading by example, all right.

Trump didn’t impose a bunch of environmental regulations like Obama with his idiotic clean power plan or sign a stupid agreement like the Paris climate accords. In fact has done away with a lot of costly and idiotic regulations which saved common citizens like us billions of dollars.

@Trajan61 and clean air, drinking water, safe food...

@MrBeelzeebubbles So why isn’t Obama leading by example instead of buying a large beach front property with a massive carbon foot print??

@Trajan61 except for the FACT that the next generation, and every generation afterwards, will have unbreathable air & unhealthy food. And, those regulations would have employes thousands to build/install maintain the equipment, monitor it, whereas steel & coal mining is in free fall. Shortsighted, much?

@AnneWimsey Those regulations cost billions for very little gain. Obama never did anything except work for the government and didn’t have any sense when it came to business.

@Trajan61 "Obama didn't have any sense when it came to business", you say.
The President whose term saw the bailout of the Big 3 automakers, who not only continued employing American autoworkers, but also paid off their loans from We The People ahead of schedule and were able to expand as a result of the boom that Obama oversaw... one of the longest continuous periods of growth in world history.
Trump's supposed "unprecedented low unemployment" in fact is the same as it was in several quarters under Obama- and President Obama did not need to run up the highest deficits in world history in order to do it.
The entirety of Trump's business sense was "get someone to bail me out when I lose my money". Even the ghost writer of "The Art of the Deal" has disavowed the book. Merely investing in index funds would have made Trump more money than his supposedly "brilliant" business acumen.

You're a broken record, Trajan- "Obama bad, Trump great"- but you have no evidence, only your own assertions. You actually ignore the facts of history and paint your own version of the truth so you can live in the blissful ignorance of your cognitive dissonance.

I've said once before that I was done with you. I forgot why. Now I've remembered. And I'm done with you.

@Trajan61 you need some Facts....going green would not only help with health costs (children with asthma, for one tiny example) but Boost the economy in major ways....lower power costs would help businesses, & manufacturing/maintaining green equipment would open up thousands of new jobs! It is or could be a Total win-win, but all you see is change & it frightens you...just sad.

@AnneWimsey You are quite delusional if you think green energy is going to be cheaper than what we have now.

@Trajan61 it already is, and cleaner, and not only creating more jobs, but cleaner, better jobs (vs. for example coal mining)...has been for several decades now, in fact, even uphill against blind dinosaurs like yourself.....

@AnneWimsey What in the hell are we going to do when the suns not shining and the winds not blowing? I’ve yet to see a single electric semi truck or farm tractor. Yet you liberal nitwits seem to think we need to be 100% green in 10 years. That’s definitely delusional thinking.

@Trajan61 my girlfriends cute, roomy, zippy Prius gets in the vicinity of 50 pg.....and you are wrong about the farm equipment, it is, and has been, available but prohibitively expensive for farmers already teetering economically. Rebates,& etc. given by the government would be Very helpful, but this administration has No far-sightedness at all...

@Trajan61 what do you expect they get their ideas from the leader of the nitwits ,the delusional nut job AOC.

@fedup She is definitely a delusional nut job along with her friends Talibe, Presley, and Omar.

@Trajan61 ..."power when the sun/wind is [unavailable]" Gee I dunno....storage batteries, like they have used on submarines ever since the Nautilus...like. 40 years, on every sub in the Navy? Your absolute ignorance is ASTOUNDING or may e you just act dumb....?

@AnneWimsey The Nautilus was the first Nuclear powered sub so what are you rambling about? I’m sure if batteries were economically reasonable we’d already be doing it. Your the one who seems to be ignorant.

@Trajan61 all nuclear subs have Huge storage battery compartments, for when the reactor is being serviced, has a problem, etc. because when you are close to crush depth you kind of need to maintain power...as a moments's thought would have told you, or 2 minutes of research on subs.....but duuuuhhhhhh
