I saw a vacation post with very nice pictures. I thought I'd post some from my trip around the Olympic Peninsula. The mountains are from Hurricane Ridge, the snake from the Hoh Forest Trail. I got to see some large flocks swarming like starlings and flashing. Pretty amazing phenomenon

Those pictures makes me want to go out in nature. Super, just super.

The forest floor pix reminded me that similar scenes inspired me to get a magnifying lens and take pix from so close that the subjects were hard to identify.

Great photos! I recognize the places from hiking to Grand Lake off Hurricane Ridge, the Hoh Rain Forest, and on Pacific Ocean beaches in Washington State where I live.
