I'm trying to remember, but I think it was about 2 years ago when I finally realized that no one was actually going to do anything but wring their hands.
He is all about him. He stated publicly, I can put out what I want - which is true as he can declassify anything. The questions we should ask are why? Who does it help? What info do our enemies gain? And last, but most importantly in the world of intelligence (He should have asked this of himself) who has the need to know?
Everything Trump does is all about him and he loves every minute of it. Nothing else matters and he incites others to do stupid things while his base and GOP cover for him.
Putin probably didn't believe how good the images we get are and wanted to see for himself, so asked Donnie to find an excuse to show him.
@1of5 actually those are probably less than average images - when I worked with satellite photography in the late 70's early 80's we had that. We were just going digital then. I can only imagine what technical progress has been made in such a time period.
@Beowulfsfriend the analysis I read of it had the resolution far higher than the image analysts usually see, especially out in public. Like resolution theoretically better than you can get from a satellite, suggesting a high altitude drone.
It's also a picture of the pic, not the actual image.
That said, they'd be idiots not to think we take pics of thier stuff, and they aren't idiots
