OMG that's really flipping sick!
I was able to take a shower yesterday morning so I washed my sheets in the afternoon. That was exhausting. My stomach isn't upset but I have zero appetite, and that NEVER happens to me. I'm weak from hardly eating but nothing sounds good. I'm going to try and put something in the crockpot this afternoon but I'm not sure what.
Get plenty of rest and get well soon!

I took a shower this morning....my first since Wednesday! I feel accomplished. Iāve eaten so little the last few days that it exhausted me. Iām going to try to eat more today
@Marcie1974 yes try to get something in your stomach. My girlfriend in Florida is sick too, something must be going around. I never pay attention to flu season because I never get sick.
@mooredolezal I ate most of a hamburger and a few French fries. Time for a nap

Being sick sucks. A bad sore throat sucks ass. I use a whiskey and lemon juice gargle. Bear in mind that I really like whiskey and give terrible advice.

I think Iām over the hump. My throat doesnāt hurt as badly. But Iām so exhausted at this point all I can do is cry and wish someone would take care of me.
Iāve been trying to eat but have no appetite. I feel weak from not eating much for 3 days.
Not that Iām going to whither away anytime soon.
@Marcie1974 glad your throat is better. Hopefully you will get some good rest.

@Marcie1974 You know what? It was a JOKE. I don't see you any way at all. I'm guessing you used to have Vick's rubbed on your chest by your mom and you said you were sick and wanted your mom. Take it anyway you please but try in the spirit in which it was intended.

I went to urgent care Wednesday night and quick clinic yesterday morning. Ibuprofen, salt water gargles, and throat spray.
Iāve had a sore throat since last Saturday. Came home from work Wednesday and slept for 2 hours. Throat pain was unbearable so I drug my ass to urgent care. Stayed home from work yesterday and today

On our honeymoon, Terry and I got campylobacter infections from untreated drinking water at a new British Columbia provincial park. A sign said the water was safe. Painful cramps, vomiting and diarrhea.
We laid on our backs in a Victoria, B.C. hotel, crying for our mothers.
"I can't drive," Terry moaned the next morning, curled up like a shrimp.
"Move over, Terry," I replied. "I'll drive. I've had abdominal cramps once a month since getting my period at age 14." I drove us five hours home.
We lost 12 pounds between us. Antibiotics worked.

@Marcie1974 I've never disputed the obvious fact that women are stronger. I wish more women would acknowledge that and stop expecting men to be in charge of everything.
@BitFlipper well I didn't say I could make a decision!! Lol.
My body decided to have extra fun with me and I got my period yesterday too.
