why christian? why not any other faith? did you just stick to the faith you were raised with? Or did you choose your own after much investigation of various religions?

At this point we cannot but who is to say what we will know in the future.

It would definitely be great to have a reason for believing in something. As for the world outside of our minds we have our experiences. But beyond what we can see, hear, feel or detect in any possible way, why should we believe in that?
And being a Christian additionally comes with a lot of baggage. It's not just about believing in a god, you also have to change your whole life around what some people tell you about god. There again you have the same question, why should you believe them?

That’s true, but it could be argued that thinking or feeling is not physical. It depends whether you mean tangible or experienced.

I used to be a Christian. My journey from Christian to atheist took a little over a decade. I didn't become an atheist because I learned more about the Bible and realized it is just a collection of made-up stories that have been altered many times, I became an atheist when I started learning the science I had been taught to fear and ignore. Science showed me there is no evidence for a god and that one is not necessary for the universe to behave as it does--especially one that is concerned with, and involved in, human affairs.

I should clarify, I identify as an atheist because I absolutely do not believe any gods exist. But, I also identify as agnostic because I acknowledge that I do not have all of the knowledge of the universe.
