I wonder if all of those phony borders drawn by former european colonists should be rethought to better reflect the ethnic and linguistic reality of the Africans.

some of those borders have virtually no meaning to people on the ground ... others are heavily monitored. Old tribal areas were split when borders were drawn ... and old tribal differences still affect politics across Africa

You don't want to start of more wars by doing that.

American geographic knowledge overall is a joke. Americans are so ethnocentric that they do not believe that anything exists outside our physical boundaries.
