Since it's Friday, here's a story for no reason at all..... Yesterday while chopping a tomato for my salad, somehow my brain thought it was a good idea to cut my finger instead !!!!.... Amazing how little things change something in a heartbeat. Typing on my keyboard at work today is a bit tricky.

I have to get rid of most of my knives and buy a food processor to protect my digits.

I like the way you think !!!!

In high school, I knew this kid who worked in a pizza joint. He told me that any time he cut his finger with the pizza cutter, he'd squeeze the blood into the tomato sauce. And any time he had a stuffy nose, he'd blow it into the mushrooms, or the anchovies! I knew someone else who worked in a pizza joint. They told me that the employees periodically kick the stacked-up pizza boxes, to chase the cockroaches out.

Pizza anyone??

Lol that happens to me once in a while... Very irritating to wear a bandaid... Next time, don't chop, slice instead haha

Wondering if I need to start wearing leather gloves going forward 😂

@IamNobody that would be awkward 😜

@Cutiebeauty Noooooo.... Just while handling a kitchen knife, to protect my fingers 😂😂😂😂

Accidentally cutting myself seems to be my injury of choice 🙂.

I understand. In my case, it wasn't really my choice 😊😊😊

Okay, since this is the age of the personal injury lawyer maybe you could find one where you can sue the knives manufacturer for not installing the proper safety devices.🙄

No kidding, in my humble opinion, that type of abuse is breaking our legal system and hurting bussiness. I wouldn't sue no one because of my own fault. However, there is always that greedy lawyer.....

@IamNobody I have to agree

Red Cross doesn't want my blood any more, so I count on incidents like that as "donation experiences".

@Alvinsmama That was rude. Sorry that happened to you.

"At work today." Something is trying to tell you it is time you retired. When you start to get clumsy, can't be trusted with sharp things........

I hope it's a one time event, but you gotta point... can't wait to see what the next surprise will be 😨😨😱😱😊😊

Oh dear!Since i am also one who gives blood regularly in that manner, I have lots of finger tip bandages and Liquid Skin and crazy glue for wounds. And remember to wash everything that has blood on it in cold water. The cut will hurt only for a few days!

Yup, the bandage still getting reddish
