I honestly don't know how the reporters do it.
If I were able to be in a room with 45, I'd lose my
press credentials in a hot minute.
I'd be calling him out as a liar, while cameras are
rolling, and arguing with him, until they hauled me
away.
I'd probably throw a shoe at him on my way out.

Colbert kills me with that segment.
Of the three 11:30pm late-night hosts, I like Colbert the best.
Although, Kimmell lambastes 45 pretty well, too.

@KKGator In the early days of trump ...it was the only ‘news’ I could stomach.. Colbert is brilliant ...beyond support of his ‘catholic upbringing’. Mom loves Jimmy Kimmell.. My other go-to is of course, Seth Meyers with A Closer Look Thank god 😕

@KKGator I mentioned how I love the news updates that I get from Colbert to my twin (who voted for trump, gop ticket and goes to church on Sunday) and of course she said, I can't stand Colbert. LOL I really am puzzled that we are identical twins. Clearly the minds came from different eggs.

I think the reporters in that room have probably invested years in their careers, and are conditioned to follow their story.

I've always marveled at how they just stand there and take it when he looks right at them and says, "you're fake news". I guess you have to put up with a lot of shit when you're worried about paying your mortgage or your kid's college expenses, but sheesh!

No shit! I'd be out of a job so fast.
