Does the thought of Creationism in schools get under your skin as much as it does mine? I don't even have kids but the idea of teaching children this garbage drives me absolutely berserk.

Schools are a mess! They need a total rehaul of cirrculum. So yes, it gets under my skin too.

My 7th grade science teacher told us in class that he was only teaching evolution because it was in the curriculum and that he was a christian who believed in the bible. That was the day I realized that being a teacher didn't mean you were smart. After that moment, I didn't listen to a single thing he said.

It drives me nutz. One, it is clearly teaching a religious viewpoint and B, it is so fuckin' stoooopid!
