go to paris. walk up to montmarte. enjoy a glass of wine outside a cafe & if you're with a partner have her/his portrait painted by one of the roving young artists.

All joking aside, if you go to Australia or New Zealand I think it is, you can have a fly over of the Antarctic while itโ€™s still there.

I reckon Great Barrier Reef. Last chance to see...

@MrBeelzeebubbles That would be true as well!

Donโ€™t go to America!

Especially to the U.S. Southern States. Stay away from Mississippi. ๐Ÿ™‚

@St-Sinner Whatโ€™s New England like these days? I spent a lot of time in Boston and in Maine in the late 90โ€™s and thought it was lovely.

Was in NC, Virginia and Texas for a while just after 9/11 and canโ€™t say I felt the same!

@Geoffrey51 With all its faults, the North East is better than the South. It has been like that since before and after the American Civil War.

@St-Sinner I guessed it might have been, thanks for the confirmation.

I want to go to the Altai mountains. It looks amazing. Bit of a treck, though.

Take the unbeaten path. Go to exotic places that have a lot of history, not the places that look like the U.S. and Canada.

Go to Kazakistan, Turkmeinistan, Mongolia, Jordan-Petra, Bali, Morocco etc. Go find out how people live there, what they believe in, how welcoming they are and what we can enjoy and learn from them. Much cheaper than Europe and much safer.

Thatโ€™s good counsel ๐Ÿ‘
