I am having a bad day. First I heard that the job I interviewed for on Friday was given to someone else on Monday. Then I find out that one of the items from Michigan's budget that our Governor vetoed was the grant that pays for my job as a Veterans Assistant. I am not happy.

I can understand that. I used to work in grant funded job and know the anxiety.You could call the VA and suggest that other avenues of funding could be found under a different heading, such as Veterans' medical services or community education. Don't give up.
