"Scanda Noir" is very popular at the moment with several crime dramas on TV, Last night I watched a Norwegian full length feature film called "The Kings Choice" about Germany's invasion of Norway in 1939 and King Haaken's decision not to capitulate. Highly recommended with a powerful performance from the actor who plays the German envoy.
I watch the Scandi Noir series on BBC 4 on Saturday nights if I’m at home. I missed the beginning of that Norwegian one last night, so didn’t watch it when I came in, but will watch it on the iPlayer later. I have never been disappointed in any of the Scandinavian programmes, they all seem so very well acted and are usually quite gripping...perhaps having to read the subtitles makes the viewer more involved in the story, as you can’t take your eyes off the screen or you miss the dialogue.
I think you will enjoy it. Starts a bit slowly but soon gets going.
