Stupidity prevails

Some parts of America seem to be living in a parallel universe....where logic and common sense seem to have been bred out of them..akin to reverse evolution!

Paranoia has gone out of control.

I sometimes mime putting my fingers to my head when I'm frustrated, I guess it's a good thing I haven't been sent for a suicide referral...

It was a police decision to arrest her. I doubt this will get very far in court. It is an example of bullying and intimidation by authorities.

All the boys in my elementary school used to play cowboys and Indians during recess. We shot each other with pretend pistols all the time. The worst problem was that after being shot a person often would refuse to fall down.

Times change. I’m told there’s no longer such a thing as recess in some schools.

They should do both. If a student mimics, writes a list of targets, or makes a threat to a school/staff/student it cannot be ignored any longer. The school does a threat assessment to see if student has access and is serious. At the same time other students are contacting home telling their parents who usually call police and report the threat.The police cannot ignore it. This school year alone (2 months) we've dealt with 6 threats by students in our high school.

She might've had a real gun at home.. they need to check it out...

No, not really I mean after all that was a double barrel gun finger. Probably has a large capacity magazine too.
